PROGRAM MANAGER

POSITION SUMMARY

The Program Manager will provide strategic guidance to teams and project managers in ways that promote the improvement of mental health and quality of life for assigned consumers.  The Program Manager will also oversee the progress of operations and be able to develop efficient strategies and tactics with the goal that the program delivers the desirable outcome to our organization.

The Program Manager is responsible for the execution of one or more simultaneous products under development according to the leadership of the CEO.  The Program Manager Reports to the Clinical Director.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 

The Program Manager will formulate, organize and monitor inter-connected projects; decide on suitable strategies and objectives; coordinate cross-project activities; lead and evaluate community support workers and LPC interns; develop and control deadlines, budgets and activities; apply change, risk and resource management; assess program performance and aim to maximize ROI; resolve projects’ higher scope issues; and but not limited to prepare reports for Medical and Quality Improvement Directors.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES 

  • Proven experience as a Program Manager or other managerial position.

  • Thorough understanding of project/program management techniques and methods.

  • Excellent knowledge of performance evaluation and change management principles.

  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; working knowledge of program/project management software is a strong advantage.

  • Outstanding leadership and organizational skills.

  • Excellent communication skills.

  • Excellent problem-solving ability.

  • Experience working with the Department of Behavioral Health and/or their clients a plus.
